The Refuge Pro Ventilator Gore-tex from Merrell features a Gore-Tex upper combined with classic Merrell air cushioned soles.  They are great for walking but also as an everyday shoe due to its fantastic comfort and durability. The leather upper has a Strobel construction which offers flexibility whilst the waterproof Gore-Tex membrane is treated with Aegis Antimicrobial solution to provide a impermeable but breathable barrier that will also combat odours. The sole has a moulded arch shank and compression moulded EVA foot frame which gives cushioning, the Split technology joins dual density EVA under the heel to absorb shock and discourage over-pronation.  Combined with Merrell Air Cushion in the heel to absorb shock and add stability and a Vibram outsole the Merrell Refuge Pro Gore-tex shoe provides all day comfort, support and durability.
